School News

On Monday we opened our new outdoor classroom in our 'Forest Schools' area.

The Children have had a fantastic, caring day raising money for Comic Relief to help those less fortunate than themselves.

 

On Friday 6th March John Hegley, the author of Stanley's stick, came to visit KS1 and foundation stage.

Next week, on Thursday 5th March we will be dressing up for World Book Day. This St Mary's tradition encourages children to dress up as their favourite book character.

On Thursday 12th February two Yr3/4 teams competed against 13 other teams in a Key Step Gymnastics Competition.

The School Council will be selling soap stone hearts for Valentines Day to support 'The Lunchbowl Network'.

On Tuesday 10th February 2015, years 5 and 6 had a cosmic experience in Space Odyssey's space dome.

St Mary's Primary School is officially a Good School, say Ofsted!

Children throughout St Mary's have been telling tales this week. 

Visit from Hugh Pearson who has worked with the BBC Natural History unit.
