It is rated 'Good' by Ofsted and is a vibrant and friendly school serving the market town of Tetbury, an attractive Cotswold market town.

We currently have the following vacancy:

1 to 1 SEN Teaching Assistant (31.25 hours a week linked to a specfic child with an EHCP)

We are looking to recruit a capable and experienced teaching assistant to support a child with significant Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in school from March 2021. This positions is a Grade 5 position (previously known as Grade F). 

The successful candidate will be:

  • genuinely committed to developing caring and trusting relationships and supporting pupils with specific needs in accessing their education;
  • is calm, patient and adaptable;
  • has an understanding of inclusion and supporting children with SEN needs;
  • has good communication skills;
  • can adapt tasks to suit individual pupil needs;
  • is able to work closely with parents, teachers, teaching assistants, the SENDCo and other outside agencies.

Our children are a caring, curious, and courageous bunch and are full on enthusiasm and energy. We have a Forest School onsite, a huge field used all year round for den building, digging and exploring and an all-weather running track.
