St Mary's is a large primary school with talented staff, supportive parents and more importantly, amazing children who make us feel proud. 

It is rated 'Good' by Ofsted and is a vibrant and friendly school serving the market town of Tetbury, an attractive Cotswold market town.

We have a Forest School onsite, a huge field used all year round for den building, digging and exploring and an all-weather running track. As a school community we have a collective commitment to developing healthy and active children and we put children at the heart of all we do. 

We currently have vacancies for two KS2 Teachers, a Pastoral Lead and Deputy Safeguarding Lead and a 1:1 Teaching Assistant.

KS2 Teachers * 2 (Full time, Permanent)

We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate teachers to join our KS2 team in September 2021. The successful candidates will be working with a team of experienced teachers and will be well supported in their planning and teaching.  

We have a fabulous team of staff who are inspiring and fun to work with. Our children are a curious, caring and courageous bunch and are full of enthusiasm and energy.

PASTORAL LEAD & DEPUTY DESIGNATED SAFEGUARDING LEAD (Permanent, 4 days a week.)

The Governors of St. Mary’s Church of England Primary School in Tetbury are looking to appoint an inspiring, caring and highly motivated pastoral leader to join our school team from September 2021.

This role is for 4 days a week (28 hours), term time only, plus inset days.

1 to 1 TEACHING ASSISTANT (14 hours a week) - start as soon as possible.

We are looking to recruit a capable and experienced teaching assistant to support a child with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will be someone who:

  • is geniunely committed to developing caring and trusting relationships and supporting pupils with specific needs in accessing their education.
  • is calm, patient and adaptable.
  • has an understanding of inclusion and supporting children with SEN needs.
  • has good communication skills.

This position is a Grade 5 (previously known as Grade F) and will be for 3.5 hours a day, four mornings a week.

This role will initially be a fixed term position until the 21st July 2021 but will have the possibilty to be extended.
