On Friday 6th March John Hegley, the author of Stanley's stick, came to visit KS1 and foundation stage.

He did a lot of singing, making up a lot of his songs. The children asked him questions and found out more about why he wanted to be an author.

Children in Juniper class shared some of their stories they wrote last term.

John was very impressed at the children's ideas and their confidence in reading aloud.

He looked around all the displays of work in the classrooms. The children really enjoyed meeting a REAL LIVE author!!!
