EYFS & KS1 History Week

A fantastic five days of curiosity was had by all during our incredible History Week!

Our local history walk around Tetbury really got us thinking about life in the olden days and the children asked some brilliant questions.

Visitors to school were hugely welcomed by the children and we thank Mrs Collinson and Mr Saunders for taking the time to come in and talk to us all about life when they were in school and how different it is to school nowadays.

We certainly finished with a bang! A fabulous turn out by parents to see the amazing staff teaching the children how to make lemonade, to spin wool and the experiences of Ye Olde Sweetshop, Ye Old Washhouse and a Victorian School.

The motto for the day: Children should be seen and not heard!

We really are privileged to teach such delightful children. Enjoy the break EYFS + KS1.
