The Ferns & Puddle Ducks enjoy our Forest School

On Wednesday we welcomed children from The Ferns and Puddle Ducks Pre-School to our Forest School.

We shared a story which told us all about how Stanley uses his favourite stick for lots of different things. We used our imagination to copy some of Stanley's ideas. We also used sticks to write in the mud, make crowns
and even for cooking. We loved making damper bread and toasting marshmallows over the campfire!

We warmed up by having a hot chocolate!

The weather was clear albeit a little bit chilly. The children also enjoyed making footprints in the frost and seeing St. Mary's chickens!

We look forward to welcoming Tiggers Nurseries to St. Mary's next Wednesday.
