Rose quoted: 'the girls' team tried their best.' The scores in the first match for the girls were 3:1 to Leighterton and for the second match the scores were 0:0 which was a draw. Grace was really close to scoring a goal, she had everyone on their feet! Our boys' team did amazing and made into the final. But unfortunately in the last few minutes Avening scored. In the end both St Mary's teams came second. (Rose and Lily)

Tournament at Cirencester Primary

On Thursday the school Football Team – Tyler Jaggers, Oscar Purnell, Ajay Weston, Daniel Wright, Bailey Spencer, Zac Colby, Jack Scriven and Joe Elshaw - played in a tournament at Cirencester Primary School. It was a big tournament with over 15 different teams taking part. Our boys did extremely well – they won nearly all their matches and reached the semi-finals where they lost 3-2 against Cirencester Primary School who went on to win the tournament. We came third overall – it was a great day and all the children really enjoyed themselves.
