We have recently completed a consulation process for our admissions policy. This revised admissions policy will effect parents who are applying for a place at our school for the September 2018 intake and beyond.
These changes will not impact those who have recently applied for a child to start Reception in September 2017.
What We Consulted On
The proposed changes related to the criteria by which requests for admission are prioritised.
These changes were designed to make our policy easier for parents to understand and to ensure that priority is given to the children who live within Tetbury, whilst taking into account our status as a Church of England school.
Interested parties were invited to submit their comments to the Chair of Governors and a public meeting was held on Wednesday 7th December.
Comments recieved from interested parties, including parents, Gloucestershire County Council and The Diocese of Gloucester were discussed and considered by the Governors.
The finalised admission policy can now be read, in full, below.
