It is a 'Good' school situated in the heart of Tetbury, an attractive Cotswold market town.

We currently have vacancies for a Deputy Headteacher, an Assistant Headteacher EYFS/KS1 (new role) and two Teaching Assistants.

Deputy Headteacher

We are looking for an exceptional, dynamic and inspirational Deputy Headteacher to lead, support and challenge our dedicated team of staff.  The successful candidate will be an influential and visible presence around the school acting as a lead professional and positive role model as well as holding a 0.4 teaching commitment. They will work with a dedicated team to improve outcomes for all 325 pupils with a particular focus on managing resources to improve outcomes for disadvantaged pupils.

Assistant Headteacher (EYFS/KS1)

We are seeking an aspirational, creative and outstanding teacher to become our Assistant Headteacher for EYFS and KS1. This post has been newly created due to the recent growth of the school. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management and leadership of the two Early Years and four Key Stage 1 classes as well as having a 0.8 teaching commitment.

We are looking for:

  • An outstanding practitioner with Early Years and KS1 experience.
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to build and lead successful teams.
  • An optimistic person who demonstrates positive relationships and attitudes towards children, staff and the whole school community.

Teaching Assistant (Classroom Based) - Fixed Term

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a teacher every morning for the coming summer term.

The successful candidate will have:

  • experience of working with pupils with assorted strengths and needs;
  • knowledge of the primary curriculum;
  • the ability to adapt tasks to suit individual pupils; and
  • enthusiasm for supporting children's learning.

This post is for 18.75 hours a week, mornings only.

1:1 Teaching Assistant (SEN)

We are looking for a nurturing and experienced Teaching Assistant to support, on a 1:1 basis, a child who has specific needs. This post is to start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will have:

  • have experience of working with children with communication and interaction needs;
  • have a calm demeanour and be able to form secure and supportive relationships with the children, staff and parents;
  • the ability to adapt tasks to suit individual pupils;
  • show patience and understanding; and
  • have knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.

This post is for 25 hours a week including 1/2 hour a day 1:1 lunchtime support.
