Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

This morning, we gathered together as a whole school to spend time remembering Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Mrs Woolley led Collective Worship in which the children were invited to share what they will remember about the Queen and to reflect upon her lifetime of service.

We remembered how it was only a short time ago that we were celebrating her Platinum Jubilee on our school field. We enjoyed watching the video clip from her Jubilee when Paddington Bear was invited to join her for tea. There we saw a wonderful lady who was not only our Queen but also a mother, a grandmother and a great grandmother.  

Our thoughts and prayers are with His Majesty King Charles III and his family at this very sad time.
