'St Mary's Primary School is one where all flourish because all are cared for.'

This was the conclusion from the SIAMS Inspector who inspected our school last week.

As a church school, we are inspected by both Ofsted inspectors and SIAMS inspectors.

The SIAMS inspection is a rigorous and comprehensive process over a day and involves interviews with staff, pupils, parents and governors as well as the school's leadership team. The inspector also looks at pupils' books and observes teaching and playtimes.

The inspection report states that 'St Mary's Primary School is one where all flourish because all are cared for.'

The inspector concluded that St. Mary's is a good church school  highlighting the 'rich experiences' children are given and how teachers encourage children to be curious in their thinking and have the courage to explore different ideas in their learning.

The behaviour of children was praised as were relationships between staff and pupils.
