Yr 3/4 News Report from Westonbirt

Isobel Thompson and Thomas French (Maple Class) report on their trip to Westonbirt Arboretum

On Tuesday 14th October Years 3 & 4 travelled to Westonbirt Arboretum. Despite the rain we still had a lovely time and as time passed by we got used to the rain.  First we had to find our class tree and we did the orienteering course.  We enjoyed picking up the multicoloured leaves and had lots of fun on the wet slide.  We discovered that the tallest tree in the world is 115.16m by walking the height of it on a trail of logs. After lunch we went to the old arboretum.  Finally, having found our way out we went back to school - it was the best school trip ever!
