Curious Key Stage 2 visit the famous Market House

KS2 spent a morning at Tetbury's Market House where they were given access to the Meeting Room where the Feoffees have been meeting since 1655.

Our curious children asked lots of questions and found about about branding irons, rother cattle and Beadle's staffs amongst other things. There was also some tricky maths involved in calculating how old the Market House is. It was a really interesting morning and the Feoffees and members of the Tetbury 13 were there to talk to the children and tell them about the work they do. Thank you to everyone who took part.
