Young Voices

On the 11th January some of the Year 4, 5 and 6 children took part in Young Voices in Birmingham. There were over 6,000 children singing in the Genting Arena.

We had three guests! Tom Billington, Lauren Wright and Beatbox Collective. Tom Billington sang three songs, one of the songs was his new song ‘Hyper’. Lauren Wright sang the rugby anthem and two other songs. Beatbox Collective taught us how to Beatbox.

This year it was the 20thanniversary of Young Voices. As it was a special year everyone wore glow in the dark t-shirts. We rasied money for disabled people to learn music through a charity called Nordoff Robbins.

Everyone had the best time. Thank you to Mrs Cartledge, Mrs May and all the adults who came with us. But most of all thank you to the Young Voices Choir who sang so brilliantly. ‘ Zoe, Jess and Aleesha.
